Generative AI is new and noisy, and separating hype from reality is hard. Here's everything we usually get asked, in plain English. There are no stupid questions.

Isn't AI just ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is one tool, well-known. Generative AI is a whole toolbox: drafting, sifting data, summarising reports, handling customer calls. Set up properly, it does real work that resembles a remote colleague. Set up wrong, it's a $200 a seat Slack channel for hallucinations.

Don't we need lots of data to train our own model?

No. The breakthrough of the current generation is that you don't train your own. You point powerful pre-trained models at your existing documents and workflows. Intelligence is available on-tap; what's scarce is the engineering to make it useful in your specific business.

Is our information safe?

Yes, when it's set up right. Real business setups keep your data inside your own cloud, with the same controls you already use for email and file storage. We build every project PIPEDA-aware from the start, with a SOC 2 path if your customers need it.

Will AI replace our employees?

Generative AI is brilliant at some things and hopeless at others. Making it work means designing the workflow with humans in the loop. It's no substitute for judgement and creativity. We use it to give your team leverage, not to thin them out.

Do we need a technical team to use AI?

No. We design the integration so the only programming language your team needs to understand is English. We can train, hand off, or stay on as a managed team. Your call.

What does a project cost?

No two projects are the same. Whether it's a quick strategy sprint or a full build, we scope the work first and quote it in full before you sign.

Do I own the code?

Yes. Every line. You get the repository, the infrastructure-as-code, and the runbooks on day one. No licensing tricks, no usage tax, no lock-in.
